The AuSable River Two Fly Shop is located 12 miles northeast of Lake Placid at the base of Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington NY where the heart of the West Branch of the AuSable River pocket water exists.

just wanted to say thanks for all your support(and brookie)
had the most amazing weekend.read you river report every morning. what ever happened from friday night, combination water warming and these little black flies(don't know what they were) but from sat -sun and this morning cought over 208
at the bridge in ausable was using phesant tail nimph
was fishing in current and on top sometimes 3/4 of my backing was out had guys on either side .today it ended
around 11 wind picked up ,water raised ,changed the current
and it stopped.not monsters but some nice rainbows 11-14"
a few 15"browns the two guys thet would come and go
landed 2 22" browns. it was a weekend i'll never forget.
